Wish I would have eaten dinner here instead of the 4 B's across the street After being very disappointed with that establishment I decided to try this place for breakfast. Service was fast and friendly. My coffee cup was never empty. Service was at least 4 stars. I ordered corned beef hash and it was just okay. Seemed to be of the canned variety but was very salty. If in the area again I would eat here as it seems like the best option.

The food and beer at Gallagher's were okay. The atmosphere--is strange. Gallagher's has decent menu options. I ordered a burger, and overall, it was pretty good. The atmosphere, though, is a weird one. First of all, it's called Gallagher's Family Restaurant and doesn't come off as a family place. There are casino games inside. It seems like it wants to have a sports feel--a majority of the TVs had sports and ESPN on, and one of the servers had a referee shirt on. But just one server. Nobody else did. And even though the majority of the TVs had sports on, one had Fox News on, and the volume was cranked on it. There was no other music or sound in the place except for the Fox News television. So...it was a bit strange. Gallagher's strikes me as a place that doesn't know what it wants to be or is supposed to be. But as we had to stop on our road trip in the middle of nowhere, Montana, Gallagher's gave us a good meal. And that was good enough.

Great small town diner! Service is good. You can't go wrong with breakfast, the daily special and save room for a piece of pie. If you've been to a diner in just about any small town in America you'll know what to expect at Gallagher's. I haven't found anything exceptional but everything has been pretty good. I really like the fact that unlike a lot of oilfield establishments these guys are really trying and generally succeed at providing good service.

I arrived at this restaurant expecting nothing short of the quality and service of Denny's, but apparently it's possible to reach service below this expectation. My family and I walked inside only to be welcomed by utter and immediate silence. The servers gave us odd expressions and neglected to greet us even after greeting them. No comment on the food, we left before they could bring out the gastrointestinal anomalies. :) hope this helps!

This restaurant is a gem! Best country breakfast I've had in years. The service was fabulous. I wished we lived in Miles City.

When you're here, eat finger steaks or some other pre-prepared fried stuff. The food they prepare isn't very good with the notable exception of their pumpkin pie.

The food was okay, but nothing spectacular. Not that you would expect perfection in Miles City. The ambiance was weird, I felt like I was in a library. The staff was unhappy to see us and the regular clientele made me feel extremely awkward, shooting glares out of the corner of their eyes at us. Also, the salad bar was redonk.
